Cunae International School
pp1f955367.png
Cunae International School is a small, boutique private school set within 6 picturesque acres on the edge of The Woodlands.  In a welcoming and intimate atmosphere that is both supportive and encouraging, Cunae offers an internationally recognised academic programme to students’ ages Pre-K through 10th grade, with planned expansion to 12th grade.

The school emerged to support a need for an adaptable and holistic education reflective of the world in which we live and the diverse student population that exists.  At Cunae we recognise that children are unique in their backgrounds, skills, interests and experiences; advance at different rates; and possess varied learning styles. These distinctive differences underscore the necessity of a flexible educational approach so that each child has the opportunity to succeed.  Cunae adheres to this approach, individualising and modifying the curriculum and environment, where possible, to meet the specific needs of each student.

School Profile & Philosophy
As part of meeting those needs, Cunae has developed a dynamic, effective and relevant curriculum so that their academic attainment and social awareness is in step with the ever changing world and today’s global sociey. To this end, many national and international standards, including that of the U.K., Canada, Australia, and the U.S., have been resourced, in addition to implementing the International Baccalaureate Programme.  In support of these standards, Cunae actively consults new research findings in the areas of education and developmental psychology.  Such research not only underpins the curriculum, but helps ensure that the environment is conducive to both academic scholarship and to the student’s personal development.
