“We moved here in June of 2009 and after doing much extensive school research, we chose Cunae for our 12 year old daughter, Cali. Within a week of starting Cunae, Cali was completely at ease. The small class size, individualized attention, caring and knowledgeable teachers, IB focus, and natural location all appealed to us. The teachers are so welcoming and eager to help the children and all are completely committed to making the school successful for all the students. When my friends ask how Cali is adjusting to her new school, the best and most descriptive answer I can give them is, "When I drop her off, she literally runs to the classroom every morning!" How many 12 year olds do you know that do that?” Leela Bhuyan-Duncan
“My 10-year-old son is thriving at Cunae. Cunae offers a perfect balance of activities that keep my son interested and learning. Since enrolling at Cunae my son's attitude and behavior have dramatically improved. This is a direct result of feeling both respected and challenged. The director and teachers have a deep passion for what they do, and they truly enjoy the students.” Sharon Miller
“Cunae has been awesome for our son. The individual attention that he gets and his love for learning speaks for itself. Cunae has truly been an answer to our prayers.” Tami Berckenoff
Conceptual, Creative, Concrete - these are just three of the reasons we love Cunae. The curriculum format is presented at Cunae so that each subject fits within a Conceptual framework. The students are then asked to Create products or solutions to "real world" problems or situations, building Concrete skills and abilities for the future. This approach, which relies on individual initiative, allows for a variety of learning styles and abilities, and has enabled our daughter to "blossom and grow" during her 5 years at Cunae. “Cunae International School, not being bound by public school strictures, is able to offer both idealogically and physically a rich educational environment to its students. We teachers have a rare opportunity to challenge our students to not only learn the curriculum but to also learn how to live a fuller life, to think rather than to regurgitate and to become better citizens not only of their communities but of the world as well.” Greg Hill
“Well aside from the environment we are creating for the students, I love looking out my window and seeing turtles and frogs sunbathing on a turtle platform in our pond that the students made. It brings me a sense of peace and tranquility, that hopefully filters down to the students”. Anji Price
