CULTURES

Students explore the history, geography, arts, beliefs, food, and lives of people around the world through research and projects. The goal is to develop not only their insight and knowledge about others in the world, but to expand students’ empathy and tolerance to differences.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Students gain an understanding of the long term well-being of humans, animals, ecosystems and all things related to the natural world through the study of earth science and practical hands on projects. Students also gain an understanding of their own responsibility to improving and maintaining the future of the world and human survival.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP, COMMERCE & FINANCIAL LITERACY

Again in preparation for the wider world, ECFL explores: the importance of innovation; how to identify and pursue opportunities and become pioneers of change; how to be successful through productivity; risk assessment; and ability to make informed judgements and effective decisions about the use and management of money.

COMMUNICATION

Roundtable discussion, public speaking, debate, and presentation skills are the nature of our communication subject. Students learn to appropriately express themselves to others, develop listening skills, learn how to respectfully oppose others views, engage in negotiation, and how to be comfortable in doing so. Cunae is dedicated to creating good communicators so that students will stand out in the crowd.

DESIGN TECHNOLOGY

Design Technology gives students hands-on experience utilizing tools and learning the sequence of steps involved in designing , modifying, problem solving, and creating projects, giving students an opportunity to engage in both cognitive and practical skills that has relevance to the real world.

SIGNATURE SUBJECTS

In addition to mainstream subjects such as language, arts, math, science, arts, physical education, and humanities, Cunae is proud to offer a number of subjects that provide students with practical life skills and insight, giving them a definite advantage in the real world.
